Despite the sun, the city's entertainment scene is providing plenty of reasons to stay indoors with a good mix of professional baseball, touring theater, and high energy concerts. It is a solid weekend for indoor enthusiasts who want to avoid the high UV index while enjoying the best of the local culture.
Expect brutal triple digit heat with highs reaching up to 106 degrees on Sunday and an average high of 105 throughout the weekend. Saturday late afternoon offers a small window of overcast skies, but indoor activities are highly recommended given the intensity of the summer sun.
